Carriers & Custom Accounts
Shippy supports multiple carriers out of the box and allows you to connect your own carrier accounts.
When you activate Shippy, you'll need to toggle on your default carriers. If your subscription supports custom carrier accounts, you'll need to connect them via Settings > Carriers.
Default Carriers
Shippy comes pre-connected to major carriers, such as USPS, UPS, FedEx, and DHL (if enabled). Simply Toggle ON the carriers which you prefer to use. These accounts allow any user to start shipping immediately without entering credentials.
Connect Your Carrier Account
For those with the Super Shipper subscription and beyond, connect your own carrier credentials.
To connect a carrier, head to Settings > Carriers. Click +Connect Your Carrier and follow the prompts to enter API credentials or login details. Once connected, you’ll see rates from your own account in addition to default carrier rates when creating shipments.
Carrier-Provided Packaging
Some carriers offer Carrier-Provided Packaging (for example, USPS Envelopes). When selecting one of these carriers, Shippy will give you the option to choose from their supported packages. You do not need to enter custom dimensions.
Rate Visibility & Sorting
Shippy displays available shipping options and allows you to sort by Price or Delivery Time.
You can also opt to view all carrier options or just "my carriers only."
Manage Accounts
You can add, edit, or disable carrier accounts any time from the Carriers section in Shippy's Settings.
