Shippy App Settings
Ready to configure? This guide is all about the Shippy Settings panel.
Access Settings from the app card within your HubSpot objects. This is where you'll update your sender address, default units of measurement, package presets, payment methods, and connected carriers.
You'll also be able to review your plan details and shipment history directly within Settings.
Preset Addresses
Your preset Sender Address is used as the sender and, if applicable, return address on all shipments. As you type, Google Maps will assist with autocompletion.
You can add one or multiple sender addresses, but choose ONE as the default. Once you're satisfied with your sender address details, click Save.
To keep things organized, give each address an internal name - for example, "Head Office," "Warehouse," etc.
Units of Measurement
Select your preferred measurement system in Account > Settings. Shippy supports both Imperial and Metric systems, including inches/pounds and centimeters/kilograms. Once you've chosen your default, this will preselect your package dimensions when generating a shipment.
Preset Packages
Preset packages save time by letting you reuse common package sizes and weights. When Creating a Preset, you'll want to:
- Add a name: “Welcome Kit,” etc.
- Define dimensions: Length, width, height
- Set the weight
- Choose if it's a carrier-provided packaging or custom. If you prefer to use a flat-rate service from your carrier, be sure to use the right carrier-provided package!
If you set a preset as default, this will automatically load as your package when generating a shipment. Don't worry, you can always select a different preset or enter custom dimensions.
Billing
Head to Settings > Billing to view your stored payment method and history:
Payment methods are used for your Subscription and Postage Balance; you may add a credit card or ACH account and select ONE as a default to facilitate billing. You can change your default payment method at any time.
Adding funds to your postage balance will incur Processing Fees.
- If paying via Credit Card, your funds will be immediately available with a 2.9% + $0.30 fee.
- ACH additions will incur a 0.8% processing fee (up to $5.00) and takes 3-5 business days to reflect in your balance.
For subscription details, view recent charges, quota usage, and upcoming renewals within Subscription Tier. You may upgrade or downgrade your plan, review limits, or cancel your subscription if you no longer need us.
Carriers
Toggle on default Carriers or connect your carrier account(s) to reduce clicks when creating shipments.
If opting to connect a custom carrier, you'll be redirected to a secure sign-in page. All changes are saved automatically.
Shipments
Review your shipment history via the Shipments tab in Shippy's Settings. This will include the date and time of each shipment, to-from information, the quantity of packages within each shipment, label download, shipment status, and more.
Within Shipments, you may search for a specific shipment or select a date range. You can also Download All for bulk printing.
