Getting Started with Shippy

Welcome to Shippy - your seamless shipping engine inside HubSpot.

This guide walks you through installing the app, enabling the necessary components, and getting your first shipment out the door.


Install Shippy

  1. Click here + select your account, or

  2. Head to HubSpot’s App Marketplace

  3. Search for + select Shippy by Dijy

  4. Click Install:

  5. Review the OAuth Agreement & select Connect app:

Upon installation, HubSpot will create a custom "Shippy" pipeline on the Order object. Additionally, a custom "Shippy" property group will be created on the following HubSpot objects:

  • Contacts

  • Companies

  • Deals

  • Tickets

  • Orders

  • Custom Objects

These properties include: Recent Shippy Tracking number, Recent Shippy Tracking Status (dropdown), and Recent Shippy Tracking Status Detail (dropdown).


Activate App Cards

To interact with Shippy inside your CRM records, you'll need to activate App Cards. Don’t worry, this is a one-time action - simply follow the steps below:

  1. From the connection screen, select Customize app cards. If you've closed this out, head to your HubSpot Settings

  2. Under Account Management, head to Integrations > Connected Apps

  3. Click on "Shippy by Dijy"

  4. Select App cards > Manage locations:

  5. Click the checkbox under Right sidebar for each object where you'd like to activate Shippy. You can opt to enable cards in record view or preview mode. This includes:

    1. Contacts

    2. Companies

    3. Deals

    4. Tickets

    5. Custom Objects

    6. Help Desk sidebar

  6. Select Save in the bottom left-hand corner.

  7. Repeat steps #4-6 for each app card. "Generate Packing Slip" and "Generate Packing Slip (Record Preview)" can only be applied on Deals.


First-Time Setup

Now that you've activated the Shippy card, head to Contacts. Locate the card within the right-hand sidebar:


Next, click on Settings. You'll need to:

  1. Update your Account information on the first tab - this includes Business Information, Property Mapping, and Shippy Preferences.

  2. Add Billing details on the second tab - this includes Payment Methods, Wallet Balance, and Subscription Tier.

  3. Once Account + Billing tabs are both fulfilled, you may Close the settings and create your first shipment.

Please Note:

You'll need to fund your postage balance separately from your subscription plan. Read more about your postage balance and subscription tiers here!
