CRM Integration

Shippy creates custom property groups on the following HubSpot objects:

  • Contact

  • Company

  • Deal

  • Ticket

  • Order

  • Custom Object (when enabled)

These properties include Recent Shippy Tracking Number, Recent Shippy Status, and Recent Shippy Status Detail.

In order to enable Shippy on a custom object, you'll need to input the internal value.

Order Object

Each shipment is logged as an individual order via the Order object in HubSpot. The Order object will be associated to the record where the shipment was initially created.

An Orders Pipeline syncs and reflects as the shipment status is updated. This enables detailed reporting and tracking of shipment activities. The stages in this pipeline include: Label Ready, In Transit, Out for Delivery, Delivered, Available for Pickup, and Error.

Workflow Triggers & Actions

Based on your subscription, Shippy includes a workflow action to auto-Generate Shipments. You can use Shippy within contact, company, deal, ticket, custom object, and order-based workflows.

You may also have access to Generate Packing Slip if you're using a deal-based workflow:

To rely on the Create Shipment action, you must include package dimensions, carrier rates, and sender's address, as well as tokens for each address field.

You can also build custom Workflow Triggers based on shipment data - for example:

  • Send a thank-you email when the status is “Delivered”

  • Notify your internal team when tracking information is added

  • Move Deals to “Processing” when a shipment is created

Reports & Dashboards

Leverage HubSpot Dashboards & Reports to visualize shipping volume, on-time delivery rates, and other key metrics:
