What is Shippy Connect?
We know your time is very valuable - bulk printing can slow your momentum when it depends on downloading files and navigating multiple steps for each print job. While creating shipments, referencing and entering weight information can take precious minutes you know you need for other tasks. Over time, small redundancies impact efficiency.
Shippy Connect allows you to connect your preferred printer(s) and scale for streamlined printing + weighing through the help of a desktop extension. Once your devices are connected through Shippy Connect, you can fulfill print jobs and pass weight values with ease.
💡 This extension replaces your previous multi-step printing process of downloading labels, selecting a printer, previewing, and printing. It also eliminates the need to manually reference and enter weight details when generating shipments.
Install Shippy Connect
The following screenshots apply specifically to macOS - if you're operating from a PC or other system, your process may look a little different. While installation should be very similar, feel free to reach out to us directly with any questions or challenges you may be facing!
Log in to HubSpot and head to Settings > Integrations > Connected Apps > Shippy by Dijy > Shippy Settings. Under Settings, locate the Hardware tab. Expand Setup Instructions and download via the URL provided:
The link will prompt you to download the app. Rename the file to "Shippy Connect" and click save:
In your computer's downloads, locate the newly downloaded ShippyConnect file. Double click to launch the app setup page.
Once you've opened the app setup page, drag and drop the ShippyConnect icon into your computer's applications folder:
Now, head to your Applications. Locate ShippyConnect.
Open the app. You will likely be prompted to confirm that you trust the app downloaded via the web. Click Open:
Depending on your operating system, you may need to configure permissions in your computer's settings. This includes toggling ON the ability for ShippyConnect to monitor input from your keyboard, among others. Follow the prompts to grant this and other necessary permissions:
You'll be required to quit and relaunch the app.
Once you've reopened the app, you'll be ready to log in with your account's username and password:
Your account's login credentials will be found in Shippy by Dijy > Settings > Hardware under Setup Instructions:
💡 Login credentials are applied to an entire HubSpot account. They will not be unique per user.
